Dairy Daddies Slip Past Buffalo, 8-7
The Danville Dairy Daddies beat the Buffalo Bisons, 8-7, at Kernels Ballpark. The win was largely due to the efforts of first baseman Lee Stevens, who captured player of the game honors. He was 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Danville reliever A J Sager picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Kevin Foster was saddled with the loss. Danville goes to 27-34, Buffalo to 38-23.

Stevens had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the ninth. On a 1-1 fastball from Kevin Foster, he banged a solo home run to right, giving the Dairy Daddies a 8-7 lead. It was the 11th home run of the year for Stevens.

"We need to string a few more wins like this one together," said Stevens.
