Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Mike Marshall, the Brooklyn Cyclones defeated the Rochester Red Wings, 19-13. Marshall went 4 for 5 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 4 for the Cyclones. This win makes it 5 in a row for Brooklyn.

Marshall put Brooklyn up, 19-11, when he hit a 3-run home run off Terrell Wade in the bottom of the seventh. His 13th home run of the season helped the Cyclones capture the win.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Brooklyn manager .
