The Buffalo Bisons got a superb performance from third baseman David Howard, but the Milwaukee Otters still won the game, 8-7. Howard was named the player of the game despite the loss. He went 4-5 with a double and 3 singles, while scoring 2 times. At 35-33, the Otters are currently third in the Atlantic Northeast.

Having an impact for Milwaukee was Deion Sanders. In the bottom of the sixth inning, the 29-year old left fielder had a run-scoring sacrifice fly to make the score 8-2, Otters.

"It was a nice win for our side today," said Otters manager . "Not perfect, but we'll take it."
