With right fielder Eddie Zambrano leading the charge, the Buffalo Bisons defeated the Rochester Red Wings, 5-3, at Aspinwall Grounds. Zambrano, who is tied for 10th in the ATL in bases on balls with 37, went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Shawn Boskie earned the win to go to 8-3. Buffalo took a 4-0 lead on Zambrano's 14th double of the season. The 2-run double, which he hit off Brad Woodall in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Buffalo to the win.
