Red Wings Lose, 12-4, at Aspinwall Grounds
Buffalo Bisons starter Mike Williams pitched a strong game against the Rochester Red Wings at Aspinwall Grounds, leading the Bisons to a 12-4 win. The Bisons have an impressive 45-25 record.

The Bisons beat the Red Wings in part due to timely hitting. Case in point: the two-out home run Manny Martinez produced in the bottom of the first. Batting against Rochester pitcher Darryl Scott, Martinez gave his team a 4-0 lead when he hit a grand slam.

"This is a very good team," said Williams. "We have the chance to do something special."
