Young Helps Bisons Run Win Streak to 3
A 4-RBI performance from Kevin Young, who is tied for 5th in the ATL in doubles with 20, helped the Buffalo Bisons beat the Rochester Red Wings, 7-3. Buffalo reliever John H. Doherty picked up the win, upping his record to 8-3. Jose Mercedes absorbed the loss. Tim Fortugno nailed down his 16th save.

Young's key contribution came in the bottom of the fourth when he sent a 2-2 fastball into left-center for a 2-run double. It put the Bisons ahead, 2-1.

"Kevin is still learning," said Bisons manager . "The sky's the limit for him."

Buffalo has a 3-game win streak, while Rochester has lost 3 in a row.
