The win was Aaron Small's in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Russ Springer took the loss for Rochester. The Dairy Daddies move to 44-30 with the win, while the Red Wings drop to 8-66.
In the bottom of the ninth, Todd Hollandsworth had a big solo home run off Russ Springer. With the home run, the Danville first baseman put his team in front, 8-7. He was 1 for 1 with a home run in the contest.
"We take it day by day here," said Hollandsworth, "and today was a good one for us."
