Swamp Foxes Roll to 10-1 Win Over Red Wings
|
The Savannah Swamp Foxes picked up a win at Paradise Grounds, knocking off the Rochester Red Wings, 10-1. On the mound for Savannah was right-hander Felipe Lira, who played a pivotal role in the win. Savannah has 4 straight wins, Rochester 5 straight losses.
Ramon Caraballo had a nice at-bat for the Swamp Foxes with no one out in the bottom of the third. With the bases loaded, the shortstop hit a run-scoring single, which would prove important in the Savannah win.
Rochester manager said his team was "out of sync."
