The Ocean City Blue Crabs got a strong performance from pitcher Kevin Jarvis, who stymied the Buffalo offense en route to a 4-1 win at Fire Dogs Ballpark. Sean Maloney notched his 2nd save in 2 chances. The Blue Crabs saw their win-loss record go to 48-37. At the same time, the Bisons fell to 53-32.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the fourth, with the game tied, Manny Alexander was at the plate when Ocean City scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Blue Crabs to go in front, 2-1.

"Getting ahead of the hitters was the key," said Jarvis.
