Victory Pushes Bisons Record to 54-32
|
Buffalo Bisons starter Mac Suzuki was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Ocean City Blue Crabs, 6-4. Suzuki got the win, improving to 10-5. He allowed 4 hits and walked 1 over 5.1 innings. Suzuki allowed 1 earned run. Tim Fortugno, credited with the save, is now 18 for 20 in save opportunities.
It could have been a different outcome for Buffalo, had it not been for Matt Stairs, the top prospect . Stairs contributed a 2-run single in the top of the third inning to put Buffalo up, 2-1.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Stairs.
Buffalo is second in the Atlantic Northeast with a record of 54-32.
