Swamp Foxes Come Up Short at Columbus
The Columbus Clippers got a good effort from starter Armando Reynoso in defeating the Savannah Swamp Foxes at Mules Ballpark. The final score was 3-2. Doug Simons notched his 20th save in 22 chances. Columbus is now 42-47, while Savannah is 41-48.

Francisco Matos aided the Columbus cause with a 2-run double in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the designated hitter was 1-3 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said Reynoso.
