The Danville Dairy Daddies racked up a win at Aspinwall Grounds, bumping off the Buffalo Bisons, 7-5. Scott Scudder, who started for Danville, pitched effectively for his team. The win was Aaron Small's in relief. His record improves to 3-5. Andres Berumen took the loss for Buffalo. The Dairy Daddies now have a record of 42-52 with the win over Buffalo.
Danville center fielder Midre Cummings had a key at-bat for the Dairy Daddies in the top of the 11th inning. Facing Buffalo pitcher Andres Berumen, Cummings hit a 2-run single to make the score 7-5, Danville. For the day, he went 2 for 6 with a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
