Dairy Daddies Stymie Rochester, Take 4-1 Win
|
Danville pitcher Scott Kamieniecki did his part in helping his team beat the Rochester Red Wings, 4-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The Dairy Daddies have an impressive 66-39 record.
An important at-bat for the Dairy Daddies came in the top of the second, when second baseman Luis M. Lopez stroked a run-scoring single. That made the score 2-0 in favor of Danville. For the day, Lopez went 4-5 with 4 singles.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Lopez said.
