Cyclones Get One-Run Win at Buffalo
The Brooklyn Cyclones stopped the Buffalo Bisons, 7-6, at Aspinwall Grounds. The Cyclones got a big game from Jed Hansen, who went 2 for 4 with 2 singles and a walk. He scored 2 times. Brooklyn reliever Curt Lyons picked up the win, upping his record to 2-8. John H. Doherty absorbed the loss. Even with the win, the Cyclones have a dismal 13-99 record.

Brooklyn used the timely hitting of Mike Glendenning to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the third inning to put the Cyclones on top, 6-4. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We found a way to get it done," Glendenning said.
