Cyclones Fall Short at Ocean City
The Ocean City Blue Crabs eked out a 6-5 win versus the Brooklyn Cyclones at Fire Dogs Ballpark. Nobody did more than center fielder Jarvis Brown, who captured player of the game honors. Brian Bevil converted his 27th save in 31 tries. The 5th-place Cyclones have lost 6 consecutive games.

Curtis Pride had a nice at-bat for the Blue Crabs with two out in the bottom of the eighth. With runners on 1st and 3rd, the left fielder hit a run-scoring single, which would prove important in the Ocean City win.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Ocean City manager .
