Diaz Helps Ocean City Cruise to 10-2 Win
It was a fun time at Fire Dogs Ballpark, where the Brooklyn Cyclones and Ocean City Blue Crabs tangled.

A 4-RBI performance from Einar Diaz, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 1995 draft, helped the Ocean City Blue Crabs beat the Brooklyn Cyclones, 10-2. Ocean City reliever Julio Valera was the winner. His record is now 2-0. Mike Mimbs took the loss.

Diaz had a game-changing double in the bottom of the eighth. On a first pitch fastball from Mike Mimbs, he banged a 2-run double to left, giving the Blue Crabs a 3-2 lead. It was the 17th double of the year for Diaz.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Diaz.

This loss makes it 7 in a row for Brooklyn.
