Beasties Roll to 8-2 Win Over Bisons
The Bluff City Beasties got a strong performance from pitcher Pat Combs, who stymied the Buffalo offense en route to a 8-2 win at Ravens Ballpark. The 5th-place Beasties lifted their record to 62-58.

The Beasties got a big boost from first baseman Paul Sorrento who had a bases-clearing triple in the bottom of the third inning off Bisons hurler John H. Doherty. It was his 1st triple of the season and put Bluff City on top, 3-0.

"It's easier to pitch when you get run support," said Combs.
