It was a good time at Premont Grounds, where fans came to watch the Spokane River Rats and Tacoma Rainiers get after it.

Tacoma right-hander Shawn Boskie was sensational in shutting out the Spokane River Rats, 12-0. Boskie, now 2-1, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 2 hits, while striking out 6, walking 2, and allowing no earned runs. Jeff Ware sewed up the save, his 1st.

Though it wasn't a flawless game -- few are -- the fans who filled the stands at Premont Grounds seemed to enjoy watching the Pacific action.

"They took us to the woodshed," said Spokane manager .

The Rainiers keep rolling, raising their record to 10-4.
