Zavaras Lifts Storm Chasers to Win
The Omaha Storm Chasers picked up a win at Tuttle Fields, knocking off the Portland Stag, 7-1. Starting pitcher Clint Zavaras, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Omaha, now 12-2, is setting the league on fire so far.

Zavaras was effective against the Stag, seldom allowing a hard-hit ball. The right-hander limited Portland to just 1 run on 4 hits over 9 innings.

"I found a nice groove out there," said Zavaras.
