Idaho Falls right fielder Darren Daulton was instrumental in his team's 7-6 win over the Naperville Lazy Fisherman. Daulton went 2-5 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Chukars. Reliever Jeff Schwarz picked up the win. His record improves to 1-0. Cory Bailey took the loss. The Lazy Fisherman, at 10-15, have lost 4 straight games.

One significant at-bat for Idaho Falls came with a runner on 3rd in the bottom of the seventh. Chukars second baseman Dave Hajek hit a run-scoring single, which helped Idaho Falls go on to win.
