Omaha pitcher Carlos Pulido did his part in helping his team beat the Naperville Lazy Fisherman, 2-1. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The save went to Tony J. Castillo, his 4th this season. Even with the win, the Storm Chasers have a dismal 11-28 record.

Making an impact for the home team was Pablo Martinez. In the bottom of the first, the 27-year old shortstop had a run-scoring walk. That made the score 2-0, Storm Chasers.
