Portland Stag starter Dave Burba was in fine form against the San Antonio Missions at Tuttle Fields, leading his team to a 2-1 win. Portland is now 24-24, while San Antonio is 26-22.

Fernando Tatis, the 22nd overall pick in the 1996 draft, aided the Portland cause with a run-scoring ground out in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the third baseman drove in one run.

"It'd be nice to win by four or five runs," Burba said, "instead of holding our breath the whole game."
