Dave Burba pitched a gem in leading Portland to a 2-0 victory over the Round Rock Express. Chuck Ricci earned the save for Portland, his 12th of the year.

Burba allowed no earned runs on 3 hits over 8 innings for the Stag. He walked 2 and struck out 6.

"Getting ahead of the hitters was the key," said Burba.

The first-place Stag have a one-game lead in their division.
