Lazy Fisherman Win at Tacoma, 8-1

Naperville and Tacoma met at Premont Grounds in front of a lively crowd.
The Naperville Lazy Fisherman powered past the Tacoma Rainiers, 8-1, at Premont Grounds. Matt Luke was 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once, to lead the charge. Getting the save was Dennys Reyes, his 1st.
Jeffrey Hammonds was vital part of the Naperville win. He went 2-5 with 2 singles. In the top of the third with one out, Hammonds hit a run-scoring single. It made the score 1-0, in favor of the Lazy Fisherman.
In postgame comments to the Naperville Daily, Hammonds said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
Naperville, at 24-27, occupies 5th place in the Pacific West.
