Buzz Fall to Chamberlain, Stag

Wes Chamberlain left his imprint on the 6-3 Portland win against the Salt Lake City Buzz. Chamberlain, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 1989 draft, was 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Portland, at 26-25, occupies 4th place in the Pacific West.
Chamberlain came through for Portland with one out in the top of the seventh. With Portland tied 3-3, Chamberlain hit a 3-run home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Stag up, 6-3.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Chamberlain.
