Stag Fall to .500 After Loss to Buzz

The Salt Lake City Buzz defeated the Portland Stag, 6-1, at Bella Vista Grounds. Salt Lake City second baseman Arquimedez Pozo was named player of the game for his superb performance. He was 4-5 with a home run, a triple, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs. Salt Lake City is now 28-24, Portland 26-26.
Sal Fasano's at-bat in the bottom of the fifth inning was a big one for Salt Lake City. Coming to bat with two out, runners on 1st and 2nd and Salt Lake City leading 2-1, the designated hitter hit a 3-run home run.
"Winning is contagious," said Fasano. "We're looking forward to the next game."
