The Tucson Tarantulas stopped the Portland Stag, 7-4, at Ballpark of Louisville. The Tarantulas got a big game from Mike Macfarlane, who went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Eric Hillman got the save, the 2nd for him this season. Tucson currently is in 4th place in the Pacific West at 25-27.

Macfarlane had a key at-bat for Tucson early in the game. With the bases loaded, he hit a run-scoring single. It was his 6th hit of the season and gave Tucson an early 1-0 lead.

"It feels good to get this one," Macfarlane told the Tucson Daily.
