Victory Over Sky Fox Takes Portland to 36-19
Right-hander Dave Burba mesmerized the Colorado Springs Sky Fox while leading the Portland Stag to a 9-0 victory. Burba went 7.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 1, and struck out 7. His record improves to 5-0. Portland now has a 3-game win streak.

The Stag grabbed the lead in the top of the seventh. With two out, Ed Sprague Jr. hit a 3-run home run off Jose Melendez, putting Portland in front, 8-0. For Sprague Jr., it was his 4th home run of the season.

"I felt we were ready to go," said Portland manager . "Our pregame was pretty good."
