Brent Brede left his imprint on the 6-3 Colorado Springs win against the Portland Stag. Brede, who is tied for 3rd in the PAC in triples with 5, was 2-4 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Heath Murray picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-0. Dave Burba was tagged with the loss. At 23-41, the Sky Fox are currently 5th in the Pacific Central.
Brede had an important at-bat with the bases empty in the top of the first, when he hit a solo home run. The Sky Fox went on to win.
"I know we have our doubters," said Portland manager . "But I still have high hopes for this team."
