Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Stag
|
Portland got a strong outing from Scott Karl as the Stag defeated the Colorado Springs Sky Fox, 2-1, at Tuttle Fields. At 30-35, the Stag are currently 5th in the Pacific West.
Mike Macfarlane had a nice at-bat for the Stag with two out in the bottom of the tenth. With the bases loaded, the catcher hit a walk-off run-scoring single, which would prove important in the Portland win.
Karl described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.
