The Portland Stag grabbed a 7-4 win over the Walla Walla Warriors at Ballpark of Milton. Portland right fielder Jeff Barry went 2-3 with 2 doubles and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 to earn player of the game honors. The win was Rich Batchelor's in relief. His record improves to 4-1. Pete Young took the loss for Walla Walla. Chuck Ricci notched his 15th save in 16 chances.
Barry was 2 for 3 with 2 doubles and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 against the Warriors. With the game tied in the top of the tenth inning, he hit a run-scoring double that scored 1 and put Portland in front, 5-4.
