Victory Over Sky Fox Takes Portland to 57-31
The Portland Stag defeated the Colorado Springs Sky Fox, 8-2, at Tuttle Fields today. Leading the charge for Portland was first baseman Ed Sprague Jr.. He belted 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. Brian Givens picked up the win, improving his season record to 8-4. He struck out 8 in 6 innings. Portland goes to 57-31. The win puts them 8½ games up in their division.
