The Portland Stag and Colorado Springs Sky Fox completed their game despite the rain.
Portland rode a good effort from starter Brett Tomko to beat the Colorado Springs Sky Fox at Motors Ballpark. The final score was 5-2. The Stag bumped their record to 52-46 with this latest triumph.
Jeff Kunkel contributed a productive at-bat in the top of the seventh. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he drew a walk. It was one at-bat that helped Portland get the win.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Tomko told the Portland Bulletin.
