Benefiting from Tom Lampkin's productive game, the Omaha Storm Chasers downed the Tucson Tarantulas, 6-5. Lampkin was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for the Storm Chasers. After today's action, Omaha sits at 55-53, while Tucson falls to 52-56.

Lampkin had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a 0-1 fastball from Carl Willis, he banged a 2-run home run to right-center, giving the Storm Chasers a 6-5 lead. It was the 18th home run of the year for Lampkin.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Lampkin told the Omaha Times.
