Blanco Slugs Storm Chasers to 13-8 Win
Omaha catcher Henry Blanco made his presence felt in the 13-8 Storm Chasers triumph over the Portland Stag. Blanco was 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2. Omaha reliever Allen McDill picked up the win, upping his record to 5-1. Omar Olivares absorbed the loss. The Storm Chasers, at 58-64, sit in 4th place in the Pacific Central.

Pablo Martinez had a big 2-run double for the Storm Chasers in the bottom of the second inning. With Omaha leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a changeup from Omar Olivares and stroked the double to left. It was his 21st double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Storm Chasers ahead, 3-0.

"It was a nice win for our side today," said Storm Chasers manager . "Not perfect, but we'll take it."
