The Buffalo Bisons topped the Hartford Whalers by the score of 3-1 and moved into a 1-1 tie in the League Championship Series today. The largest share of the credit went to player of the game and Buffalo starter Mike Williams, who threw 7 innings of 3-hit ball in the win.
