Dairy Daddies Win, Move to Within 1 Game of League Championship Series
The Danville Dairy Daddies moved to within one game of the League Championship Series today, downing the Hartford Whalers on the road at Wolves Ballpark by a score of 6-3. Dairy Daddies right-hander Scott Kamieniecki was named player of the game after a strong outing in which he threw 7 innings of 6-hit ball. The win gives the Dairy Daddies a 3-0 advantage in the best-of-5 Division Series.

Danville needed the clutch hitting of Greg O'Halloran to notch the win. The catcher hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Dairy Daddies on top, 5-0. For the game, O'Halloran had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
