Dairy Daddies Hammered by Williams, Drop Game 2 to Bisons
The Buffalo Bisons relied on the hitting of left fielder Gerald Williams to get by the Danville Dairy Daddies, 5-3, in Game 2 of the League Championship Series today. For the game, Williams went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The clubs are now tied, 1-1.

A crucial at-bat came with runners on 1st and 2nd and one out in the bottom of the fifth inning. That's when first baseman Kevin McReynolds drew a walk. The Bisons went on to win.

"We're happy," Williams told reporters after the win. "When you're in the playoffs, you've got to treat every game like it could be your last."

The next game is scheduled for Saturday in Danville. Slated to start are Jeff Suppan for the Buffalo Bisons and Tim Worrell for the the Danville Dairy Daddies.
