Portland Win Evens Series at 1
With third baseman Fernando Tatis leading the charge, the Portland Stag got a road win over the New Orleans Brass, 11-2, in Game 2 of the Division Series today. Tatis went 5-5 with a triple, a double, and 3 singles, while scoring 3 times at Bay Hawks Ballpark to help Portland force a 1-1 tie in the best-of-5 series.

Mike Macfarlane had a key at-bat with two out in the top of the first for Portland. With the bases loaded and the Stag leading 1-0, he hit a 2-run single.

"We did more than enough to get the win," said Macfarlane.

Game 3 is set to be played Saturday in Portland. The scheduled starters for the game are Dana Kiecker for the New Orleans Brass and Omar Olivares for the the Portland Stag.
