Leius, Sounds Sink Bisons Again in Game 2
Riding the 2-hit performance of third baseman Scott Leius, the Nashville Sounds stopped the visiting Buffalo Bisons, 4-3, in Game 2 of the World Series today. Leius hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for the Sounds, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 0.

The Sounds beat the Bisons with some clutch hitting. The single by Raul Casanova in the bottom of the fifth is a good example. With two down, Casanova gave his team the lead, 4-3, when he came through with the big hit.

"I believe in our guys," said Nashville skipper . "I like the energy they're playing with."

The next game is scheduled for Wednesday, September 4th, 1996 at Aspinwall Grounds. Slated to start are Paul Wilson for the Nashville Sounds and Mac Suzuki for the the Buffalo Bisons.
