Tomko Dominant in Arizona Win
The Arizona Diamondbacks picked up a win at Bank One Ballpark, knocking off the Seattle Pilots, 7-1. On the mound for Arizona was right-hander Brett Tomko, who played a pivotal role in the win. Arizona now sits in second place in the United League West Division at 78-80.

Tomko's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 12 strikeouts in 7 innings while allowing 4 hits. Tomko goes to 5-4 on the year with 69 strikeouts.

"I thought we played a nice game," Tomko told the Arizona Herald. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
