Orlando laid the wood on Florida at Orlando Citrus Bowl.

The Orlando Devil Rays dealt the Florida Marlins a 16-2 loss at Orlando Citrus Bowl. Tim Salmon was the star on offense. He went 2 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 5. Joe Johnson, credited with the win, is now 9-0. He allowed 2 runs on 5 hits in 8 innings.

Salmon had a key at-bat for Orlando early in the game. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a 2-run double. It was his 14th double of the season and gave Orlando an early 2-0 lead.

"We did a lot of things right," said Salmon.
