Encarnacion Touches All the Bases, Hits for Cycle

Juan Encarnacion had a special day at Joe Robbie Stadium today, contributing to the Florida Marlins' 13-2 win and hitting for the cycle along the way.
The 21-year-old left fielder went 4-for-5, raking a single, double, triple and home run against the Boston Red Sox.
"Boy, Juan had himself a ballgame, didn't he?" Florida manager Stephen Ginter said later. "You don't see that very often."
For the day, Encarnacion finished with 6 runs batted in and 2 runs scored to go with his 4 hits.
Juan Encarnacion flied out in the 1st, hit a GRAND SLAM off Eric Plunk in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and tripled in the 8th.
In his 1997 season totals, Encarnacion has 22 home runs, .254 BA, .308 OBP, 45 RBIs and 52 runs scored.
