Clark Booms 300th Homer

At Oakland Coliseum Will Clark smashed his 300th career home run in a game against Oakland today. The 31-year-old first baseman had a hand in the Toronto Blue Jays 5-3 victory with 2 home runs and 2 RBI. For the day he went 2 hits-4 at-bats.
At the press conference after the game, Clark downplayed his achievement.
"To reach 300 home runs is amazing and something I'll always cherish. I've been fortunate to remain healthy and play at a high level through most of my career."
His all-time numbers show Clark has compiled a .292 batting average and collected 1667 hits, 301 home runs and 931 RBIs.
