Cormier Stops Texas
Monday, June 26th, 1995
The Kansas City Royals rolled to an easy 10-0 win over the Texas Rangers at Arlington Stadium today. Leading the way to victory was starter Rheal Cormier, who shackled the Texas Rangers and held them scoreless on a 1-hitter.
"This is what every pitcher wants to do when they go out there," Cormier said in his postgame press conference.
This year Cormier has registered 3 wins and 3 losses in 10 starts with a 3.32 ERA while registering 65 strikeouts and 20 walks in 84 innings.
