Even as he reached the pinnacle of baseball achievement, Jamie Moyer never broke a sweat.
The 32-year-old left-hander pitched a perfect game at Oakland Coliseum today for the Oakland Athletics, retiring 27 in a row.
"I still don't believe it," Jamie Moyer told reporters inside the Athletics locker room, following the win. "Throwing a perfect game just doesn't seem real."

"I had the best control of my life today and it felt almost effortless," Moyer said with a smile. "I never knew throwing a perfect game would be so easy."
Checking out his stats for the season, Moyer has notched 9 wins and 7 losses in 23 starts, 3.73 ERA and struck out 135 batters in 176 innings.
