Gooden at His Best, Whips Senators Wednesday, September 7th, 1994 The Baltimore Orioles rolled to an easy 5-0 win over the Washington Senators at Memorial Stadium today. Leading the way to victory was starter Dwight Gooden, who shackled the Washington Senators and held them scoreless on a 3-hitter. "This is what every pitcher wants to do when they go out there," Gooden said in his postgame press conference.
