Williams Gets 5 Hits Thursday, April 20th, 1995 No matter what the Toledo Mud Hens threw at him today, Gerald Williams hit it. He easily handled Mud Hens pitching, going 5 for 5 and helping the Bisons to a 13-5 triumph at Stags Ballpark. "The way I was swinging today, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview. Told of Williams's quip, Mud Hens skipper said he "would take him up on that next time." Gerald Williams singled in the 2nd, hit a sac fly in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
