Gross Dominates Express in Shutout Sunday, July 9th, 1995 Today was Kevin Gross's turn in the rotation for the San Antonio Missions and he made the most of it, shutting out the Round Rock Express on 4 hits. The 34-year-old right-hander led the Missions to an easy 6-0 victory, allowing no walks and tallying 3 strikeouts. "I hope we miss him next time," Round Rock manager said. "Gross certainly pitched a strong game against us today. He was in a groove, throwing everything for strikes. Throwing hard. Changing speeds."
