Arocha Spins Shutout Friday, July 28th, 1995 The Hartford Whalers rolled to an easy 5-0 win over the Southeast Slammers at Ravens Ballpark today. Leading the way to victory was starter Rene Arocha, who shackled the Southeast Slammers and held them scoreless on a 4-hitter. "This is what every pitcher wants to do when they go out there," Arocha said in his postgame press conference. This year Arocha has a 16-5 record with a 3.49 ERA in 23 starts.
