Texas turned a good effort from starter Bob Ojeda into a win over the Cincinnati Reds at Arlington Stadium. The final score was 5-2. Ojeda went 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 1, and struck out 5. His record improves to 5-10. Rob Murphy earned his 16th save in 18 chances.

Texas took a 3-2 lead on Mark Loretta's 29th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Loretta hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Cincinnati pitcher Joel Adamson shaking his head.

"I'd like to pile on a few more wins before the end of the year," said Ojeda.
